COLSTON BASSETT STILTON AVAILABLE BY MAIL ORDER
 
Colston Bassett Dairy no longer operate a mail order service, but we are happy to have taken this up, working closely with our friends at the Dairy. You can now order a whole, half or baby stilton and have it delivered by the fastest Royal Mail service available, arriving by 1pm on the following day.

Connoisseurs all rate Colston Bassett Stilton as the best there is. We totally agree with them – it really is the king of the kings of cheese, and ours come straight from the maturing rooms at the Dairy.

BREAD FROM HEAVEN
 
To complement our fresh bread from Turners of Colston Bassett and Pauls of Melton, we now have a great new range of speciality breads from Barton and White. These include Foccacia with caramelized balsamic garlic gloves, Walnut and Raisin bread, Ciabatta and Brioche. Plus Chocolate Torte and Cheesecake to die for.
 
FRESH MEAT NOW AVAILABLE AT THE STORE
 
Why not try some of our local Sirloin or Pork Steaks, or fresh Chicken Fillets. Combine these with one of our sauces, for example the Eazy Cuizine Peppercorn Sauce, and dinner is taken care of.
 
SEASONAL PRODUCE & PROMOTIONS
 
On the cheese counter we have been featuring some interesting cheeses from overseas. From Spain the Manchego and Picos Blue have gone down well - the latter accompanied by a sticky prune and walnut wheel, whilst the Manchego goes beautifully with Membrilla, a sweet quince paste. The Cashel Blue from Ireland is excellent just now, as is Croghan, a wonderful semi hard goats cheese from the west coast. This is the best goats cheese of its type we have ever tasted.

THE FRESH PASTA COMPANY
 
We met Mark at a Food Fair last Spring and were incredibly impressed with his handmade pasta. Mark is of Italian origin, comes from Argentina and makes his pasta in North Wales! And the butternut squash and sage tortelli would be worth a round trip to all those countries to get hold of! Fortunately you only have to come to Colston Bassett, and as the pasta is quick frozen, and best cooked from frozen, it is easy to hold in stock and for you to cook at home.
